PIX DIGITAL IMAGING CONTEST No.16

RULES

TERM

The PIX Digital Imaging Contest begins April 1st, 2011 at 12:01 am Pacific Standard Time (PST) and ends August 15th, 2011 at 11:59 pm PST. All Entries must be received by August 15th, 2011 at 11:59 pm PST.

WHO MAY ENTER

Employees of AfterCapture, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) or persons living in the same households of such individuals, whether or not related, and parent companies, affiliates and agents of AfterCapture are not eligible to enter or win a prize. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry.

ENTERING THE CONTEST

A contest entry may consist of one image, or a photo series. You may enter multiple times.

ENTRY FEES: $35 per image | $50 per series | Students $20 (single or series)

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

ONLINE SUBMISSIONS ONLY:

To enter your submissions electronically, please visit photobooknyc.com and register. Once the registration process has been completed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Simply log in to the PIX Digital Imaging contest Site, and follow the online instructions to upload images from your computer. Images formatted as a JPEG measuring at least 1,000 pixels on its long dimension are preferred. Images may be color profiled in sRGB, Adobe-1998 or not color-managed.

JUDGING:

Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality and effectiveness in expressing the contest theme.

CONSENT AGREEMENT:

AfterCapture is not responsible for the loss or damage of any entry. Submission of an entry to the contest automatically constitutes the contestant's acceptance of all conditions set forth in the above rules. By submitting images you grant PIX Digital Imaging Contest the right to use the entry in exhibitions and promotions in print and online when directly related to the PIX Digital Imaging Contest for 24 months.

Entries not complying with the rules set forth above will be disqualified.

AfterCapture is solely responsible for the administration of the contest, and sponsors are in no way affiliated with the contest or liable for any matters arising due to the contest.
